How are your products made?

Long Dog Shirts & More works with several professional printing and fulfillment partners. The production method depends on the type of product, design, material, and order quantity.

For apparel, we may use:

  • Direct-to-Garment printing (DTG)
  • Direct-to-Film printing (DTF)
  • Screen printing
  • Embroidery

For mugs, ornaments, wall art, accessories, and other non-apparel products, we may use:

  • Dye sublimation
  • UV printing
  • Other professional production methods appropriate for the product

Most products are made or printed after an order is placed rather than being kept in stock. This allows us to offer a wider variety of designs, garments, colors, sizes, and products without requiring customers to wait for a crowdfunding campaign or minimum-order goal.

Once payment is complete, the order is submitted for production.

What brands of shirts do you use?

Our most commonly used shirt brands include:

  • Gildan
  • Port & Company
  • Comfort Colors

Other reputable brands may be used when needed, depending on the garment style, color, size, availability, and printing method.

The brand and style may vary from one product listing to another. Please review the individual product description for available details.

How long does production take?

Most orders are produced within approximately 5–10 business days after the order is placed.

Production time may vary depending on:

  • The product ordered
  • The printing or embroidery method
  • Product availability
  • Order volume
  • Holidays
  • Whether custom artwork or customer approval is required

Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

How long does shipping take?

After production is complete, most orders shipped within the continental United States arrive within approximately 3–7 business days.

Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations may require additional transit time. International delivery can also be delayed by customs processing.

How much does shipping cost?

Available shipping methods and charges are displayed during checkout.

Shipping costs may vary based on:

  • Delivery address
  • Products ordered
  • Package weight
  • Fulfillment location
  • Shipping method

The amount shown at checkout is the shipping charge that applies to your order.

Where do you ship?

We ship to many locations within the United States and may offer international shipping to eligible destinations.

Available shipping destinations and methods will appear during checkout. Some products may not be available for shipment to every country or region.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or other fees imposed by their country.

Will everything in my order arrive together?

Not necessarily. We work with multiple production and fulfillment partners, so products in the same order may be made and shipped from different locations.

As a result, your order may arrive in more than one package and on different days. When available, separate tracking information will be provided for each shipment.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.

Because most products enter production soon after an order is placed, we cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations will be possible once production has begun.

Custom and personalized orders cannot usually be changed or canceled after the design has been approved or production has started.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Because most of our products are printed or made specifically for each customer, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Ordering the wrong size
  • Choosing the wrong color
  • Changing your mind
  • Custom or personalized products

Please review the product description and sizing information carefully before ordering.

Products that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect may qualify for replacement or another resolution. Please see our Refund & Return Policy for full details.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Contact us at longdogshirts@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the problem
  • Clear photographs of the item
  • A photograph of the packaging and shipping label, when applicable

Please do not return the product before contacting us.

How should I care for my shirt?

Unless the product description gives different instructions, we generally recommend:

  • Machine wash in cold water
  • Wash inside out
  • Use mild detergent
  • Do not use bleach
  • Tumble dry on low or hang to dry
  • Do not iron directly over the printed design

Proper care will help preserve the color and appearance of the garment and artwork.

Do you offer custom designs?

Yes. We offer custom artwork created from customer-provided photographs for use on shirts, wall art, greeting cards, and other selected products.

The quality of the finished design depends heavily on the quality of the photographs provided. Clear, well-lit images showing the animal’s face and identifying features usually produce the best results.

Additional information about available styles, pricing, revisions, and approval will be provided with the applicable custom-design listing.

Do you use artificial intelligence to create your designs?

Our artwork may be created using a combination of traditional digital drawing, photography, licensed design resources, artificial-intelligence-assisted tools, and professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Canva.

AI tools may assist with portions of the creative process, but designs are reviewed, edited, arranged, refined, and prepared for production by us.

Many of our designs were created as original digital illustrations without the use of generative AI.

Who owns the artwork and designs?

Unless otherwise stated, the artwork, designs, graphics, product images, written content, and other original materials used by Long Dog Shirts & More are owned by or licensed to Sports Dog Designs, LLC, doing business as Long Dog Shirts & More.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the artwork or grant permission to copy, reproduce, resell, distribute, or commercially use the design.
